Tychi 0 Posted May 23, 2012 I've been looking around for ways to increase my performance of the game. I read up about creating a RAMdrive to put files into the the game runs better.I've already created a RAMdrive and moved files into it, but i'm having trouble connecting DayZ to it. Everytime i run the game it says that the game is missing miles etc for DayZ.If anyone has successfully managed to get DayZ to work on a RAMdrive or knows how, i'd appreciate any help! Thanks. (Ramdrive) If not, this is probably your problem.The following two keys should be updated for entries Main and Data, if present:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2][HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA]"MAIN"="C:\\Program files\\Bohemia Interactive\\ArmA 2""DATA"="C:\\program files\\Bohemia Interactive\\ArmA 2\\Expansion"Change them to whatever your Ram Drive and folder location are.ie. "MAIN"="R:\\Arma 2" "DATA"="R:\\Arma 2\\Expansion"Are you using symbolic links instead? Those can be tricky to set up correctly and you're better off copying the bigger files over and making file links rather than folder links since this game uses security software. I will let you know the outcome! :)I have Looked for the Registry for ARMA 2 and i cannot see the Bohemia interactive folder :/I also am using the STEAM version of the game and the folders i will be moving over are '@DayZ' and 'Common' Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
