Y0shi (DayZ) 9 Posted July 27, 2012 Hello,- Server this happened on.FR100- Time that it happened including your timezone.My timezone is GMT+2, it happened between 2:30 - 3:00.- What happened during the incident.We were approaching Stary Sobor in a 7 man squad. 3 AS50 snipers, 1 Thermal spotter (me). I was behind the super market (west) and spotted something glowing on the east side hill (behind the military tents). I told the sniper who was with me and everyone else so the had a look at it. Our rush team went for it and tried to flank. My sniper fired 2 shots from his AS50 and was sure to hit one guy 2 times. Those guys were also 2 g-suit snipers with AS50s. I fired 30 shots in their direction hitting a mate of the guy we just spotted who logged in. By now this should have caused that much trouble that they never would have been able to fire back at us. The rather common appeal of this situation is a logout. Nothing happened. They guys opened the fire on us and one after another went down. The funny thing about this is that our mates were spread in a 180° radius around them. 2 AS50s were placed north west of them our rush team went through Stary to the mobile toilets near the tents (one of them was shot through the toilets). We all tried to get access on the gunfight the same time and so those guys were in even bigger trouble BUT they simply rotated in 180° and all of us (except 2) died. I ran up to Stary like a marathon man trying to secure some of my goodies. As expected all our corpses were hidden. Another point which supposes they were hackers: No one runs around Stary like that just for the cause of hiding corpses when you got G-Suits and AS50s. You risk getting shot - but I guess that doesn't count if you have godmode...- Video proofUnfortunately I didn't record. Dazed 80 Posted July 27, 2012 Yea, a couple of my clan-mates and I recently ran into a hacker at Stary as well. All of us had M107's/As50's, 2 of us were on overwatch while a 3rd moved on up to the tents. Our lead was about 100 meters out and the other overwatch was 50 meters from me and their was nobody in Stary. All a sudden a hacker teleported in behind our position, 3 silenced shots in less than 3 seconds to kill each of us. An hour later on a different server we all got teleported along with 20 other people to a position bearing satchel charges, The hacker blew us all up the moment we were ported in. It's nice to loot Kamenka like you came straight from Jersey shore (in leeroy jenkins mode)... and I dont mind getting butchered by players who are simply better then we are - I just feel stupid for not instantly logging out and that is where I see problems coming in 1.7.2.4 (when you want to evade hackers)... I guess there's no sense in cheating in DayZ because you can't have fun I think... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ldw-troublemaker 3 Posted July 27, 2012 Similar strange things happened to me too, but on a different server.I shot a guy, who was climbing a deer stand, with my AS50. As I wasn't sure if he's alone and the shot is incredibly loud, I decided to wait a while, before looting him. After a couple minutes I noticed a second guy looking for me in the woods. I changed my weapon to my M4 CCO (not SD) I had in my backpack and he didn't see me, because I was wearing a ghillie. When he was about 5 meters away (still didn't see me) I fired about 7 shots at him. Four of them hit him FOR SURE - I saw the bullets hitting his body - the others probably too. The reaction was... none!?! He turned around slowly looking for me, fired his Winchester and shot me. But that's not all!I was lucky and respawned in Kamenka. It wasn't far away from the place I got shot. So I run back, got a Makarov from the guy I shot at the deer stand before and headed to my previous position. I caught the guy still looting my body. He didn't see me coming from behind, so I shot him at least 2 times in the backhead and 4 times into the body. The reaction was... none again!!! Again he turned around looking for me and again one shot - dead! This time with a M1911 (at least it looked like my M1911).Crazy... I think that something was wrong here. Can't imagine the guy still standing after at least 4 bullets out of my M4 hit him from a distance of about 5m!!! Smoofe 0 Posted July 27, 2012 I was part of Y0shis team, which got killed by these ("'*'!"§&!"§/&-) hackers!They shot the As50 like maschineguns, no zombie reacted right in front of them.Can't figure out why some guys have to cheat.
