craft (DayZ) 51 Posted July 27, 2012 Just what the title says. I just started a new character, logged off the server I was on because it was getting dark out (yes, I'm a big pansy, blah blah blah). Logged onto a different server, which started a new character. Is there a way to know which server is connected to the hive?
U.B.C.S. Hops 128 Posted July 27, 2012 Connect to another couple servers. Whatever character is constant is the one connected to the hive, which means whatever server that character originated from was also connected to the hive.My head hurts.
okano666@hotmail.co.uk 81 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) server will have @hive in the mods list on the in game browser. If the server doesnt have a country code and a number it isnt in the main hive. Edited July 27, 2012 by Okano
misho_p@hotmail.com 31 Posted July 27, 2012 Also take note that regular servers do not save your character for use on a veteran server.

ANZ 7 isn't part of the main hive (or could be nz7 or au7 I forget)
misho_p@hotmail.com 31 Posted July 30, 2012 Lol yes they do what are you smoking. I jump between vet and regular all the time.Well what the heck then, I was playing on a Vet. server and then tried a regular server, had to start all over again in char selection, okay... then I got in a fight and died, spawning back 50m from where I had died with the same gear. This sucks I thought and went back to my veteran server where I continued to play my old character. That's weird as hell.
thehumandove 344 Posted July 30, 2012 You could always install DayZ Commander. It's an alternative launch program to Six. It has the option to remove non-hive servers from the list
