No loot in Elektro

Okay so, I spawn near elektro and on the very edge of town, in the red brick building, I find a makarov with a single mag. I proceed deeper into the city only to find out that there is no loot whatsoever in the city centre. There is absolutely nothing in the shop, the schoolhouse, the apartment building, the church. Nothing. The server was full but I saw no-one in Elektro, only a corpse of a survivor and zombies.

Is this a known bug or something? I don't believe that some dude has looted EVERYTHING including all empty cans etc.

I can't vouch for it being a "known bug", but I have experienced that a number of times. I would just change servers rather than investigate the issue.

if you spawn too close to the area, it will not spawn loot.

It is a bug that is caused by server load and going a while without a reset. It's becoming more known/common as the community grows. It can be reduced if you approach loot spots slowly from a distance or sit and watch them from afar for a little. This is, of course, a pretty lame way to fix it. I don't do it, but you can.

I just had the same problem ... no lot at all in Elektro ... but there was a sniper ! ... I took all this risk for nothing ... I'm lucky to be still alive !
