Remove broken bones till the Arma engines physics are fixed?

Recommended Posts

So I was wondering if it would be a good idea to remove broken bones till the Arma engines physics are fixed.

The reason why is I have lost two well equipped characters now to breaking bones bugs, I know DayZ is in Alpha/Beta but these bugs are actually from Arma 2's engine.

1. I walked off some stairs less than a foot high and broke a bone.

2. I was walking on a gangway in a building and inexplicably broke a bone. I wasn't shot, I was walking and I'm guessing the foot clipped off the edge and the physics messed up.

Both characters were crippled since morphine is pretty rare and breaking a bone means you have to prone it everywhere. So can we either have them removed till the Arma 2 engine bugs are fixed or at least make them much easier to heal and maybe adding the possibility to walk even if slowly.

I love the idea of broken bones but not when it's as buggy as it is.

If you aren't carrying morphine, you aren't well equipped.

Look for it in deerstands, it's not that uncommon. The hospital in Berezino is also often relatively safe to visit.

I like the risk of breaking bones, and once you learn not to crawl through doors/inside it doesn't happen that often.
