Hello. Today i started getting this message when i try to join servers. My friend is already in and is saying that an error message comes up.

Something about ''Wrong signature for file Missions_e.PBO''

Any clues?

Downloaded @DayZ manually, and the 95248 beta manually. Still the same problem. Gonna try to verify steam integrity.

Do you have the steam version of arma 2?

If so, you need to do this for both Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

1) right click on the game (Arma 2 first) > properties (might be called something else. I can't remember) > local files > verify integrity

2) repeat the process for Arma 2 OA

3) when both have finished, in steam, select Arma 2 OA, and click play.

4) it will come up with 4 options, you want to select the bottom one. Should be Arma 2 Combined Operations.

5) when it loads to the main menu, quit the game to desktop.

6) launch the game through 6 launcher, DayZ Commander, or a link to the beta patch (it lives here: - ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe")

7) Dayz should work now

Thank you. Already verifyed the integrity, but forgot to launch the game as combined in steam before using the six launcher. Gonna try that now, and see how it goes. If it fails i will try to reinstall @DayZ and the beta patch again, aswell as BattlEye.

That probably won't work as it is a Arma issue, not a DayZ, battleye or beta problem. But it is worth a shot :)

If all else fails, you can delete the local files and redownload the whole game.

EDIT: let me know how you go. I'm curious as this is a common issue.

It worked fine with the validation of files and launching as combined. Thanks. But now another problem has occured. The game have started crashing randomly. Not sure if i just died, but the game atleast just crashed while having 20zeds after me with 6k blood. Meh.

The game crashed twice with the message ''The program is not responding''. Havent had this issue before, started today with the other issues.

hmmm... At this point i would be deleting local cache and re-downloading and installing. It sounds like something is corrupted big time.

The game havent crashed after the last crash, so ill await the reinstallation untill next crash. Thanks.
