Successfull trade; It is possible!

I just had a successful trade with a man who goes by the name of

OliverD1995

I traded Oliver my SAW with one mag and my spare NVG's and GPS for my highly sought after M4A1 CCO. We had no third parties and went completely based on trust. We placed our items in one large loot pile at a pre-selected location and server. We took our items said our thanks and disconnected from the server. The trade went down smoothly with no incidents and took roughly 3 minutes. But over a hour to organize. Mostly due to Oliver needing a Wasteland Medic. All-in-all this was a surprise to me but yet gave me a slimmer of hope for this mod. :)

I can fully vouch for this, there really are some trustworthy people on here which came as a surprise to me, anyone trading with The Hopper in the future, he's not a scammer :)

How did you execute the trade? You didn't give enough detail. How did putting the loot in a pile help? Either one of you could have sniped the other while he was at the pile.

Like I said. We trusted each other. Complete strangers until last night. We both could have easily ended each other. We were closer than a meter apart for most of the deal... Trust.

Sorry about having to wait for so long. Oliver got in touch with me for a bit of medical assistance. I sendt Nurse Fraggle ahead who broke his legs and died AT the meeting point.

We where listening in on your trade hoping he didn't get shot while you where making the deal.

Damn, that's alot for a M4A1 CCO. Congrats on the successful trade, though. It's nice to have trading partners for when you need to replace lost gear.

I have done 7 trades now. Not 1 shot fired. Usually i go unarmed with 3+ as over-watch but as of yet they have never been needed B)

As far as I can tell, most people looking to trade on the forums actually want to trade. Some bring over-watch and some dont. Regardless 7 trades, no shots; there are many legit players out there. More than i would has guessed.

It's actually pretty surprising. Many of the players I have traded with are also bandits, yet there haven't been any incidents so far. In almost every trade I have also been loaded with some of the best type of gear.
