stiffleryuu 0 Posted July 26, 2012 i have downloaded it from the arma 2 beta patch website, i have multiple times made sure that my files in steam are correctly validated and updated with the right things, i have used 6 launcher to make sure i have the necessary updates yet again, and i am using arma 2 beta patch... i dont understand why but it still says my version in game when looking at the multiplayer servers that it is not the right version... and i dont know what to do now to get the right version.. even though i have done all the steps needed to be... so i need help if someone can give me it. krtshv 362 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) If you don't overwrite the original ArmA2 OA .exe with the beta .exe which is located in /expansions/beta, running ArmA with Steam will not run the Beta, but the vanilla ArmA. You might also need the following code in the Steam Launch Options, or the game will crash:-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@dayz -world=ChernarusEither run the game via Six Launcher or overwrite the original .exe and use the above launch setting. schmotto 32 Posted July 26, 2012 Don't use six launcher, it is probably rolling back your update to an earlier beta.Update your beta again and use the exe file in the operation arrowhead folder to launch the beta version of the game. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
