i have downloaded it from the arma 2 beta patch website, i have multiple times made sure that my files in steam are correctly validated and updated with the right things, i have used 6 launcher to make sure i have the necessary updates yet again, and i am using arma 2 beta patch... i dont understand why but it still says my version in game when looking at the multiplayer servers that it is not the right version... and i dont know what to do now to get the right version.. even though i have done all the steps needed to be... so i need help if someone can give me it.

i want the newest version servers available though, every NZ ANZ server i want to join has the 95310 patch, and yet when i download install i dont have it, still dont get why

If you don't overwrite the original ArmA2 OA .exe with the beta .exe which is located in /expansions/beta, running ArmA with Steam will not run the Beta, but the vanilla ArmA. You might also need the following code in the Steam Launch Options, or the game will crash:

-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@dayz -world=Chernarus

Either run the game via Six Launcher or overwrite the original .exe and use the above launch setting.

Don't use six launcher, it is probably rolling back your update to an earlier beta.

Update your beta again and use the exe file in the operation arrowhead folder to launch the beta version of the game.

I have manually installed it and It stills saying that I have 95248

EDIT: Fixed with the swapping exe files like #4 said.

I keep updating the beta after six launcher is open, then it works.

my bad i downloaded the beta extracted, but i forgot to actually install the patch itself after i deleted previous patches
