j92040 17 Posted July 26, 2012 So I've got to wondering... I know there's a chance every time you pitch a tent the server's gonna eat it anyways, but CAN you feasibly pitch a tent on the roof of a building? I've only tried it once and it got eaten, havn't found any tents since then. Reason why I'm asking is because I think it'd be a ton of fun to try to setup camp on top of that massive cylindrical structure in the middle of cherno. You know, pitch a tent (or two?) campfire, sandbags tank traps n barbed wire? If not I'm hoping rocket will see this and take it into consideration. Also - if its NOT possible where do you guys generally set your tents? Or what do you consider the "ultimate tent spot" ?. You don't neccessarily have to divulge that actual area, but what cover/landmarks ect do you usually use or look for when making a camp?

taffer 4 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) Keep trying to pitch it until you get it right next to a tree. Try to get it so it's covered by branches. NOTE: if you wanna pack it up and try again, be careful. Often times packing a tent up that's next to a tree makes it stick on the ground and you cant get it back. So you might want to just accept it once you actually get it next to a tree. Edited July 26, 2012 by Taffer
