Well, first of all, if you tried to launch it while updating... You're gonna have a bad time.

All that I did was, after steam did its thing, I reinstalled the Arma beta file I had before the update.

I then copied the arma2oa.exe from the beta directory into the main directory.

Worked fine, that way.

Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything. Cough.

It said it could not open one of the pbo files.

Surprisingly, if one just.... Waits for the download to finish, it works again!

I've honestly tried everything to try to fix it.

All that comes up is "You were kicked from the game"

I'm getting sick of it.

Well that was what I did to fix mine after update today. I added launching the Arma's after trying to install the newest beta brought up a wrong cd key error and that fixed it but I never experienced the constant kicking. I always play on servers that have use the latest DayZ patch and Beta patch. Have you tried updating the Beta to the newest which is 95310 and playing on a server that uses it?

I've downloaded the patch and everything.

It either gets stuck on the loading screen or kicks me soon after.

Have you tried everything here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/36328-updating-beta-patch-fix/ This is the place I found out about the wrong cd key error and how to fix it. But there is a part for constant kicks.

First do this for Arma2 and Arma 2 OA: https://support.stea...=2037-QEUH-3335

Then after that is completed click play and then exit when you reach the menu for Arma 2 Arma 2 OA and Arma 2 CO.

Now try playing DayZ and see if that fixes it.

I rebooted my computer and tried your solution. I got a substantial increase in fps but there was still some annoying stuttering. But thank you for that. Does anyone know what the source of the problem is?
