Arma 3 and DayZ

Im not yet a part of Arma 2's DayZ community but i want to know if you will be porting this awesome mod to all new awesome Arma 3 technology.

Its really important for me because i dont know if i should spend the money on Arma 2 now since Arma 3 is comming soon.

in a recent interview i believe it was stated that dayz wouldn't be immediately available for arma 3 due to incompatibility with the new engine

It will most likely come for ArmA3 at some point, but not at release.

Every dolla you spend on arma 2, supports the development of arma 3..

so buy both..

and i belive rocket has a port working on arma 3
