Private server for friends limited to Elektro

Was just wondering if it's possible to make a private server for my friends and I so that we can piss around and kill each-other without having to trek across the Chernarus map each and every-time,

so I'm wondering can I make a deathmatch server that restricts spawning to Elektro, whilst keeping the DayZ loot drops and zombie spawns? is what I'm proposing impossible? and if it isn't can someone point me in the right direction?

Enough of these threads, under no condition are private servers "allowed". Just stop asking. This goes for everyone.

No matter how you look at or what your intentions are its not allowed. At least to be openly discussed.

Private meaning just locking the server? or is that actually not allowed? we all own the game if that's what you're referring to.

The guy is looking to host a private hive server and tweak it a bit for spawn points, etc.

While I agree that the Mods own website is not the best place for him to ask about it, these rules people keep posting are pointless for the private hive he is talking about.

It will never be whitelisted so what's the point of saying if you don't follow X it will be blacklisted?
