Possible security hole

Recommended Posts

Excuse my ignorance on this topic as I'm still new to DayZ as a whole, especially the administrative side of things, so I'm still figuring out what things look like.

This screenshot shows what I believe to be a server-wide/admin type chat in our server. If so, then there's some sort of security issue because he's not an authorized RCON user of our server. Actually I haven't even given out our BattleEye info yet so I'm not sure how this is possible unless BattleEye defaults to a really insecure password when a DayZ server is first set up. According to the person that took the screenshot, the person left immediately after sending that message. Anyone have any input? Thanks in advance!

That is someone writing in "group" chat, a legitimate chat ingame. Admin chat appears as red ingame
