How do i change the ping on the server? myself and a bunch of friends keep getting kicked. I change the ping limit in the BEServer.cfg but we keep getting kicked. even though our pings are only 250ish

You need to restart the server after saving the changes.

Orders can still be placed. I'm waiting on new nodes to be provisioned and once done I'll need to wait for LocationID's to be processed as well. Budget is still in stock but premium is not and I can't give a ETA right now on the wait - hopefully no longer then 72 hours though.

I know someone already asked a similar question - could we go ahead and get a budget one setup today and have it automatically upgraded to a Premium server in a few days when you get the new nodes provisioned? I'd be more than willing to go ahead and pay the Premium price up front today.

We can do that but the IP:Port and Location/InstanceID will change when you upgrade to premium.

Okay, but would the data (e.g. tents, vehicles, gear) be moved over to the new IP/Port? The reason getting this server now is such a big deal is that we've had a lot of our members grow very interested in the game in a short time - and we're all spread out over a variety of servers. They all want to get settled down on one server to be able to play together, kill each other, etc as soon as possible :P They've already been waiting a while, so I'd like to have something up and running as quickly as possible :)

No problem, I know that would be a lot of work. I'll talk it over with some clanmates and get back with you :)

EDIT: Talked with them - they don't mind losing tents, etc since they can put whatever they really need on their person. We'd like to setup a budget today, I'm placing the order now. You mentioned you can get it setup and running in an hour or so, since they're in stock, correct?

If you use the configuration editor it does not change the max ping in "\cfgdayz\BattlEye\BEServer_active_7b97.cfg" so people will still get kicked.

I had to use the file browser and track down that config file to fix my chinese friend's kick problem.

I had to use the file browser and track down that config file to fix my chinese friend's kick problem.

I know, working on a solution for this. Not a big fan of how BE does that.

Yes but not really needed since BE is outside of the gameserver directory on my setups.

Fixed. Just make sure you stop the server before editing it now.
