Running slowly?

Hey, so I have had this issue for a while. For some reason, I run slower than everyone else I group with. They always have to stop and wait for me to catch up. One time, my friend stopped to shoot at some guy when we were on our way to some place, and I kept running, and I had a ten minute start and he STILL caught up to me. Sometimes, when I'm in full sprint, I'm slower than people crouch running. It's not my internet connection, and I don't see how low FPS could cause it ( My fps usually hovers around 30). Its also not having too much gear, because my friends will be loaded down with gear, and I have a pistol and patrol pack, and they STILL out run me. It pisses me off.

This is due to you eating too much food and not moving enough, your player have become obese and so is running slower. I suggest you try to find some salad and stop consuming beans or cooked meat, also run more.

My bad I forgot this one, it's true if you run with your knife out you're much quicker, like in Battlefield.

either double-shift or your out of energy, I suggest pitching a tent, it may take awhile, like 5-10minutes while moving, and you can still sprint.

Haha funny. Its not me being out of energy either, because this happens ALL the time, even if Im a new spawn. I occasionally go really fast, but its only for a few seconds.

There is someone who is always slower in my group and it's because of his connection. Do you know for sure it's not your connection? Also even with 30 fps do you experience fps drops? Those can make you lag behind as well.

I run the game with +- 42 fps , and my ping is always >150 ms, and I ALWAYS run slowly than us players, that have ping < 50 all the time ¬¬...

I saw a video on youtube where a guy run like 100 km/h(u know, scripts ¬¬), it's not fun at all :}

I do get slight FPS drops sometimes, but not constantly. How would that change my run speed anyways?

I honestly believe this is a combination of personal ISP connection and PC performance.

You run slower when you are holding pistols, just hold a primary gun and you'll be ok.

No, it happens even WITH primary weapons. It doesn't matter what I do, no variable seems to work out.

its your computer, i have the same problem. i'll run as fast as them sometimes(very rare) but i notice when my fps drops or my client lags for a second ill lose speed and they'll just keep getting further. people in my group have started calling me fatty <_< and will usually have to stop so i can catch up. funny thing is though i don't have this problem with arma, only dayz. btw its not the connection, i have 100mbsp which is twice as fast as some in my group yet i'm the only one that plays on a 6 year old computer. my specs are intel dual core 2.0ghz, 2 gs ram, radeon hd 3400 series and i run on a xp 64bit.

Absolutely the same here. I have several friends having the same issue. I'm running extremely quick and the rest of them (one having better specs, the other doesn't) is way behind me. I would honestly doubt it to be an error of specs or connection, as this was my first guess too, several days ago, and we couldn't fix anything about it.
