How fast can you get the basic gear?

I just started playing a white-listed server and it is quite difficult to do so, i killed a guy up the airfield and he logged off and i couldn't get his gear, pissed me off as i was dying for a coke

In under 15 minutes I've gone from a fresh spawn to having an AS50, a MK 48 Mod 0, a L85A2 LWS, a Coyote backpack, every tool, and countless supplies.

Currently have all that gear and 20 tents and 2 cars, with only 6 zombie kills.

Play a private hive :)

Depends on your definition of basic gear. Mine is 1911, a bandage, some beans, and a bottle of water.

but you could NEVER find all that in 15 minutes without getting it off a dead body, or out of a tent. I don't think the OP was asking how long it takes if you happen to spawn next to a fully geared dead player, or if you spawn and run directly to your collection of stocked tents
