Getting frustrated.. Instantly dieng when spawning

So.. someone explain to me how and why this is happening..

i join a server.. everythings going smoothly.

when suddenly, "setup is complete, please wait" awesome its gonna work this time.

Icons start appearing and landscape is rendering, but ohhhh noooo.. im dead.. it doesnt even get to the "Your dead" banner, the bloody green hourglass loading thing just sits there. Cant do anything.. besides loook at my hands laying on the floor. cant press respawn, forced to alt f4 out of the game.

iv verified all steam files

re installed six launcher

re installed latest patch's

raged alot

tried every server possible ( same thing with all)

So yer, i havnt played dayz once since i got it soooo, help would be awesome.

That hour glass is the unconscious meter, not dead.

That happens when you log out when your character is in shock... A small white icon above where the broken bones are. I think you just have to wait the hour glass out.

It's never happened to me that I persistently get this situation. You might want to try a forum search.

You need to wait for the green thing to load if it's what I think it is.

have you tried waiting for the hourglass? Because maybe you logged out unconscious/shock.

Ill let you know if the hourglass loads this year..

No it doesnt move.. it never moves and it never has..

Besides im joining completely random servers how could i have played them before and logged out when i was unconscious.

its really annoying me because its a great mod and i would love to play it.. and im just so damn close to playing, but no, i have to be unconscious for eternity.

ill leave the game running.. mabye it will settle itself out.. very doubtful, but im hoping

ps. the blooddrop icon is always flashing as this happens.. the hourglass just never moves

same thing is happening to me. last night i joined about 20 servers and it happened on all of them. i sat unconscious for 23 minutes and hourglass never moved. i had to kill arma 2 via task mgr.

this a.m., i logged into another server and sat unconscious for 42 minutes, then killed the task because no keys respond while in this state. looks like this is happening to a lot of people. i'd really like to play this game - just purchased it last weekend.

I have got the same problem. The hourglass still doesn't load.

But found nearly a solution:

1. connect to a server

2. wait until it is loaded

3. but then press immediately "Escape", because your character faints just while the game starts.

4. Then press "Respawn"

Unfortunately all the buttons in the menu doesn't react. So I can't press any button and I'm only able to use the task manager to close it....

And im sorry others are having the same issue, but im happy im not the only one with this issue.. I bought the game recently aswell.. mabye thats it..

I have no clue, just wanna play this mod asap
