Missing content somehow

I posted about something a little like this yesterday and somebody helped a little by getting rid of some other error messages but it still says this when I try to get into a server "You can not play/edit this mission because it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus, dayz_ code, dayz_ weapons, dayz_ equip, dayz_ vehicles ".

Anyone know what I need to do? (If you post I might not respond for a bit.)

if this helps I'm using steam but I've also tried to launch it through the six launcher.

Common errors

I get 'You cannot play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip etc.'upon joining any DayZ server You installed the mod or the shortcut incorrectly. Make sure you add "-mod=@dayz" without quotes in the launch options and DayZ mod files are installed in the proper folder. By default: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons"

A nice alternative to Six updater (which is the equivalent of driving the space shuttle down to the supermarket for a loaf of bread) would be DayZ Commander. Both apps do essentially the same thing in regard to DayZ, but I never realized how bad I hated Six until I tried DayZ Commander just for comparison. I much prefer the filter options on Commander as well as the way it shows the breakdown of servers using a particular version.

Get either one, but I would recommend checking them both out before you make a choice.

I find Dayzcommander better than Sixupdater too well that was until Dayzcommander decided it wanted to minimize itself to my task bar and not open in full window anymore :rolleyes:

Already done that on steam.

I've checked multiple times, they're in the right folder.

I currently have the same problem with mine but it says "You can not play/edit this mission because it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. rmod" I have tried reinstalling dayz commander and reupdating it too, Im not entirly sure what it means and if you could help me out, that would be awsome.

Go to your steam Right Click on Arma 2: OA, Go To Properties, Click on the General Tab, Click on Set Launch Options, then type or copy and paste

the command -mod=@dayz

Once done try and reopen your Dayz. If it doesnt let you play, it should then give you the error down below.

It simply means that somewhere along the line your Arma 2 got corrupted. In steam Right click Arma 2, Go to properties, Go to Local Files Tab, Then Verify the cache.

Once done, open up arma 2 to the main menu ( double check the game version is correct ) then close it.

Then open you can then open DayZ Commander and play your game :D
