ventuszeruel 0 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I'm usually not one to post on the forums, but it's a sad day when we lose so much.So we're doing our rounds in the [GHOST] clan, and we go back to our camp, which mind you was filled with supplies, bus, motorcycles, many tents a v3s truck and an offroad truck.Bound to get hit with all that stuff you know? Though to our surprise we see a man in a guillie suit teleport right in front of my friend with an as50 and kill him. I shoot back but bullets do nothing, He returns fire I die.In some hopeless attempt to recover weapons...I run all the way back to camp, all the vehicles, gone...one man took 6 vehicles? don't think so. All tents, empty, etc...Basicly, my drive to play this mod is dead, though..it IS a mod....It just dissapoints me to see the community crash and burn so hard due to hackers. This is a fun game, and I even made a few long term friends from playing it, and if it wasn't 'for' this mod I would have never met them. Just thought I'd get this off my chest, we won't quit playing, ever...because it's the fun of getting that far and working together that gives us our ambition. Anyways, here is a few videos of the events that happened before all the hacking ... Enjoy. We could not find out the name of the hacker...unfourtunatly. dannyboy92 (DayZ) 36 Posted July 24, 2012 We lost 3 svd camo's, 4 m4a1 cco sd 1 L85a2 1 m249 1 m107 +++ more guns and tons of ammo for everything. The only rare gun we where missing is the AS50 and the rocket launcher. 4 vehicles also gone. Not sure if we where raided or if it despawned, or if it was hackers. The cars are despawned, live with that.If you can't live with that, its the wrong time for you to play it, so you have to wait.For me is that topic a advertisement for your videos, because I can see nothing bad in your videos... ventuszeruel 0 Posted July 24, 2012 yeah i'm aware it's alpha, no harm done. But server never restarted, so they can't despawn, when we saved them..and no server crashed happened. So point invalid. Anyways, I'm still gonna play =] Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bensch 5 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) trust me.... a car can despawn without a server restart ^^.It can be a bug.I work with a team on a mmo, too and trust me during the developing we saw things you never see in the final game ^^ Thousands of bugs! This here is a very good mod, but not finished.You can play the mod during developement!I know my first replay sounds a bit evil, but that was not my intention. That was only my opinion.
