deren93@hotmail.com 95 Posted July 24, 2012 Every server is running a different beta patch it seems. For those confused, when you join a server and get "Bad version, server rejected." it is because your beta patches do not match. It's really annoying. When I started playing this nearly two months ago there were far less servers but the servers around were more reliable. Is it really that hard to keep your server updated? inch 40 Posted July 24, 2012 Try to imagine how often we'd have to restart the server and kick players off for every beta patch they release... so yes, it is kind of a pain to update to EVERY patch.

Get the latest patch.Want to improve and stabilize the server? Get the latest patch.etc. etc. They are not releasing the new patches because they find it entertaining, there is a reason for all of them.If players find the time to update to the newest beta I don't see how server owners can't do the same.. ijs. BTT` 15 Posted July 24, 2012 Are you guys talking to server owners or server hosts? Cause as it is now, unless you have a dedicated server the host must provide the update to the owners and then the owner can click a button to update. Owners should not have access to upload their own copies of an update per the Dev teams wishes I believe. Check out the 'Server General' area here and see how well that is going.
