Killcam?

Recommended Posts

The title says it all.

I'll confess that I have yet to even encounter another living person in-game. I've only been playing a few days and finally got an Alice pack full of beans and soda, about in the middle of the map and really enjoying myself.

I'm looking forward to getting my head blown off and frustratingly gather up materials again. The one thing I've been thinking about is, if I'm sniped from a distance while running full speed across an open field like a noob, will I ever know where the shooter was?

A quick, 5-10 second killcam, would tell me. Would this be fair to the shooter? I'd definitely learn a new spot. It'd make the sniper have to relocate.

But what would keep me from telling my friend, who the sniper didn't see, exactly where the shooter is?

I dunno, maybe I just answered my own question but I thought I'd throw this one out there...

That would be silly, People that play as Recon and scout out towns before moving in, This would remove that aspect of the game, and on the other side this is not call of duty :l

Clans would just run some poor guy to "scout" the area and when he gets shot the clan can easily take out the sniper. And it works even with 2 people. This game is about realism not about "omg i got sniper i want to see dat"

Inb4: "GO BACK TO COD, NOOB."

Edit; My opinion is no. It's a permadeath game, you're supposed to start a new life once you die. That includes not knowing who or what killed you, or how.

Yeah, I guess I thought it through more as I was typing the thread haha. A killcam would be pretty much the opposite of what this game is trying to do.
