Why are people getting satisfied over killing people with nothing on them ?

No, I don't like to play that way, I like to stay from afar and tell them to drop their guns. Shoot first and ask questions later is the mentality that makes this game meh. But it's all about the person holding the gun though how he reacts, not everyone shoots and asks questions later, but most do.

I've seen a couple of vids where they sneak up and ask for them to drop their weapon so it's possible but pretty risky.

That's what I've been doing all along, and all of them have been succesful except one where the guy returned with a hatchet and killed me when I was checking the internet... :P

I play only 2 days in this mod. Every player I saw started shooting at me. Every. It's annoying.

Yeah we try to avoid any other players as much as possible but we're set on shoot first ask questions later once we've been spotted so we're not a group that has a mission to go looking for other players to kill.

The way we play is to survive by scavenging so that's our first priority and 2nd is to try and avoid other players but shoot to kill if we have to. The whole week of play for me has been pretty fun and I've been killed maybe about 5-6 times but that's when I first started playing and no group.

I won't lie, this game does need more content and I'm sure those will come in the later development phases but PvP is not really that bad as long as you play smart and make sure you have a group and if you are set on going solo then you have to make sure you play smarter.

Its seems that in the apocalypse cochroaches gravitate toward the tops of buildings and higher ground. The problem is pretty persistant as they like to shoot unarmed respawns. The insects are pretty prevalent in Cherno and Electra, but are easily dealt with utilizing a heavy lead pesticide. I like to think of myself as a person keeping the spirit of the Orkin Man alive at the end of times.

Join the cause. Grab a gun, look up, and pull the trigger.

The longer I think about it the more it make sense, humans are a very hostile race, and DayZ is like kinda like a true Apocalypse simulation. Instead of helping eachother the world would turn into utter chaos, some people even made video of them picking up new players to make them fight to the death in an arena, two men go in and one comes out. Oh humanity.

Nothing really, it's just that some people have a problem dying and losing all their stuff and some get butt hurt that they got sniped or shot in general. Can't really do anything about that. :P

That's because you're afraid that some hero will gun you down, it's too risky for you to go and get the loot.

Its really about kill or be killed. Playing with friends is what most want to do sadly with the side channel gone its a little harder to actually find people in the game to become friends with and play try using the forms here to find players and team up. Its hard to trust people not to kill you for your things ive had where they say they would cover me i run into the building get the loot run back they kill me then take it all. its just part of the game and one i might add is the most realistic thing in this situation everyone would be killing everyone as well

If you're tired of getting shot then all you have to do is avoid all resource centers. Stay out of the cities if you don't want to run into bandits. Stay away from high traffic areas. You can get everything you need to survive without going anywhere near Cherno, Elektro, or the airstrips.

Whatever you do, stop complaining about getting burned after you've stuck your hand into the fire.

Some bandits do it for fun, me personally I will kill a player regardless of if he's carrying a weapon for 2 reasons:

1. He's competition, If I'm in a city with another player without a gun there's a possibility he will find a gun and shoot me or take all the good loot in the area.

2. Even if you don't have a gun you still have other stuff, food, water, extra painkillers.

It's survival, sometimes you need to do stuff you don't want to or have to.

Of course those who just kill because it's funny to them are dicks.

No that's wrong I want to be able to play with other players because this is a multiplayer game after all, bandits are a part of the game yes, but bandits who just joined after playing COD is a big no no. They can ask me to stop and stay still instead of shooting me when I obviously don't have anything on.

Although I do agree that we as humans are a hostile race but the major thing to understand is that this is a game so you'll get a lot more a**hats and dbags that just kill other players for fun.

To be honest though if this was real you probably won't have many people killing for fun but I'm pretty sure there will be a lot more shoot now ask questions later scenarios. I mean if you think about it, in a post apocalyptic setting where resources are scarce, who can you trust other than the people you are already with?

oh its this thread. naive beginner stands in the open without weapons, in a PvP city, and says hello.He then expects a life long friendship but instead ends up lamenting humanity and calling everyone a sociopath or a cod kiddie just because they don't want to hold hands and sing ymca.

and no i don't kill unarmed people, but some poeple do. its a video game with guns.
