M1911 vs PDW

I'm just wondering which one is better... I have both.

I'm starting have my doubts about the PDW because I was in a little 1v1 close quarters and I emptied half a clip into this dudes chest and he didn't fall. It was weird. What do you guys think, should I start using the M1911?

1911 hands down. Plentiful ammo and one shot kills. The pdw is not even worth carrying for a friend in my opinion.

g17 is the best sidearm. plenty of ammo but limited stopping power BUT headshots are lethal. if you practice with g17, its like primary weapon for close encounters and useful with large clip. if you suck at headshots, you may lean and spray the shit out of your target as well and supression is useful in firefights. especially on 1v2 or 1v3 situations.

PDW can use most silenced ammo.

I use it for quickly clearing small areas.

the only reason to use PDW is that it can use any 9mm ammo, such as PDW, Glock, M9 and SD

and this is the only reason.

if you cant make head shots with it, you will have to empty the whole mag to actually kill zombie, I dont even talk about killing players with it, he will be still able to disconnect and stay alive even after 10 bullets.

also hard to aim.

I love the 1911. As I already have a silenced M4, it's a great gun just for some backup stopping power.

m1911 is awesome, best pistol that isn't silenced in my opinion. Takes players down fairly quickly as well.

The G17 is good, but I prefer the 1911.

The best sidearm in the game is the M9SD, hands down. The ability to deal with zombies without alerting other players is perfect for hot areas.

Best in slot is probably something like:

SVD Camo, M9SD, Ghillie suit, Coyote Backpack, Range Finder, Night Vision goggles, and various supplies.

Unless I have friends with me, I don't carry anything LIKE that kit (I'm missing 3 pieces of it anyway). For normal play, I'd prefer:

AKS-74 Cobra, M1911, Alice Pack, Binoculars, and various supplies.

I'd prefer the 1911 to the PDW although it has 32 rounds. ut it lacks stopping power and repeatable accuracy. The 9mm in game are good, too but they suffer the same fate as the PDW without the disadvantage of spraying.

I stiwtched pistols with my buddy, no he has my 1911 and i have the M9 SD because he has the bigger primary so i can close in for the kill. I switched my AKM for a M4 but i'll switch back as soon as i can. Need the extra power at short to midrange, and i don't like the peep sights because it covers too much of my fov and i'm an AK fanboy anyway :D

M1911, one of the best guns ever made. It's been in service since it first came out 1911 (hence the number). High impact, lots of ammo in one clip, I say, go for it!

1911 i like the pdw but it takes a while to kill zombies if theirs alot and accuracy is bad...definately would be easier with a 1911 if u had to kill a player char while it was out...

Sorry my bad, looked at the weapon comparison and the M9 was above it but, I still stand by that the 1911 is one hell of a gun.

I do like the Taurus revolver for shooting zombies as it's more accurate but you can't shoot it as quick as the 1911

Shame the 1911 hasn't got modern mags which will hold 8 rounds of .45acp

1911 is generally a one hit kill to all zombies at any body part (unless they fall to the floor and start crawling... Execute those ones).

I've only had the PDW once or twice and i swapped it for the next revolver/1911 I found.

Oh it's definitely a really good gun. If it had 17 rounds, it would be the best un-suppressed sidearm by far.

well you can get 15 round 1911 (45acp) mags IRL...they tend to poke out a fair bit :P
