Dedicated Server no Cars Spawning?

Hi,

I have started my own Server, to play with my friends.

Everything works fine, BUT we don´t find any cars.

A friend and me walked form cherno over elektro, stary sobor, Vybor and lopatino , to the houses SSW of Salka

and back over Gree Hill(037|093) to cherno... we tried differnt maps, look in every corner of the Villages and restarted the server 5 times.

Is there any hidden option for enable vehiclespawning (if look the cfg AND the code but found nothing...).

Or is the spawnsystem relativ to the playercount(we are at this time only 3-4players).

It would be nice if somone could help me!

If you won't play be the rules set down be the DayZ creators, it's not that likely you will get help at the official forums, do you think?

I have heard that it can take a few days for vehicles to spawn on new servers. But I haven't experienced this first hand as when my clans server went up we immediately found vehicles.

We played for about 3Days.

But we´ll keep trying...

When you said 'my own server to play with friends' I assumed you meant a private server, I apologise if that was not correct.

no it isn´t private if you mean via hamachi, or PW protected, but i´v never seen another player on it ...

That's odd because the longest I've heard them taking to spawn is about three to four days.

As long as you followed the proper setup procedures/rules and the server is whitelisted, then there should be no reason that your server doesn't have any vehicle spawns yet.

That is your best bet, I would give it up to about 5 days and if they aren't showing up by then something is definitely wrong.
