Stary Sobor dead?

Nono, it wasn't the weapons that they had that were bad; it's the fact they were utter crap at aiming them. They put a clip in us both first and only broke our legs.

I'd stay well, well away from that place, unless I was on a low populated server.

Some guy was sniping there with a lure tent in the middle of the tents. The tent had ghillie/NVG/insane weapons.

The server was 24 man max, ti was night and there were 3 people on it. I got sniped like a mofo.

My Wife and I was in stary yesterday and found 2 coyote backpacks, 1 assault pack, 1 M24, 1 AK 74, and a MP5. :D We were looking for NVG and a GPS for my wife we were not camping. Then 2 players tried to kill us. I got both of them and they had GPS and NVG's on them. But we only shoot other players when they shoot at us. Too who I shot in the Tents at Stary Sorry but it was you or us. :( I did not hide your body so maybe you made it back to get your gear.

actually, I find that on low pop servers, there is more activity at stary. but it makes sense, people are more likely to venture there on an 8 man server vs a 50 man server.

i die by campers 50% of the time..and always near hot spots. i never see someone in the wilderness or someone moving between two spots. i'm starting to think that people just log in, loot/camp a place, go a little far, log out.

You haven't heard? That is exactly what it's come down to.

New players/Fresh spawns are what make this game interesting. Bandits, IMO, just make me question it.

Agree'd - more than once I've managed to, on an empty server, get into Stary Sobor, then somebody logs on and I become instantly paranoid; logging off, and leaving my character in the worst place in-game.

Not too long ago, four clanmembers joined a server that me and two friends were playing on (coincidentally, I and one of the two were at Stary Sobor's camp, and he was watching my back via the woods), and he got killed instantly. It's annoying, at best, but does bring fears to the top.

Speaking of, and I do hate to go off-topic like this, but I've yet to encounter a single bear-trap. Any ideas? Or are all the campers (see above) grabbing them all before I do?

Me and my guy's had about 50 of them set up at NWAF to snap on server hoppers while we looted around it, So they are there just hard to find them and we found one that just duped it self and said why the hell not it's alpha ya know.

There's no point in going there. Less than 1% chance for loot of military gear I want. Tree stands are better options because its still less than 1%. Ya ya ya, there is a difference between 0.19% and 0.34%, sure sure sure. Try camping all the tree stands on the map now. :)

Walked to Stary the other day with a mate, we were gearing up for a bit, I had an AKM (since they drop as often as empty cans there) and my friend an m16. Low and behold, two guys rush us both with M4 silenced, I kill both of them, we get good guns, and conveniently, they happen to have all the parts needed for the car that spawns there! Silly rabbits.
