can tents just disappear?

hi all, so it seems one of my tents has disappeared.

if it was blown up, shouldnt there be some thing left behind?

the tent had previously survived many reboots and while it was on the edge of the map, it was well within map borders. at least 500m in and in a forest that is shown on the ingame map.

i d just like to try and figure out if it was a bug, forcefully removed by admins to improve server performance maybe or if it was found out and destroyed some how.

my understanding is that even if it gets destroyed it will respawn after the next reboot.

i am a bit of a hoarder and the tent had 2 L85, 2 cobras, 1 M14, medical and food supplies and ammo. all obtained from heli crashes.

not too phased but if it was a clean up then i am wondering what is the point of even store replacement gear and/or what is the best way to do it?

Yes, tents have a chance of disappearing on server restarts.

doh, remind me to use the search function next time. seems i am not the only one with disappearing tents :D

for RP reasons i ll pretend a tornado swept it away :)

the tornado might place them where they were, after the next server restart. happens to our clan all the time, one restart eats cars and tents, the next brings them back

They really need to fix this. Spend a week using tactics too set up a camp with the gear you need only to have it randomly vanish for no reason or go shoot people at NWA.
