Custom Grid View Image for Steam

Recommended Posts

Since a lot of people play ArmA 2: OA mainly for DayZ, I thought it would be nice to create a custom grid view image for Steam.

Take a look at the spoiler below to preview it.

If you want to use it for yourself, save it to your PC from this spoiler:

To change to it, right click ArmA 2: OA in grid view, then click "Set custom image..." And then select this image. Simple! Hope you enjoy, please provide feedback!

Nice.

Personally I'd try and find a highres image of the original DayZ-logo and put it in and then I wonder where I'd put the "brain stain" or blood.

However as I can't get DayZ to work through my Steam and didn't know you could customize the image for the games, well. Have some beans!

Beans to you, Sir! I had a similar idea when I started using Six Launcher.

I added a Steam shortcut to Six Launcher and changed its name in properties to Day Z Mod. Then I set this as the custom image:

DayZ.jpg

If you use Six Launcher and want to do the same thing, click + ADD A GAME in the bottom left of the Steam window and choose "Add a Non-Steam Game..."

Locate Six Launcher. Mine is in: C:\Program Files (x86)\SIX Projects\Six Updater

Right click on the shortcut and select "Properties"

Change the name from Six Launcher to DayZ

To add the custom image, see the original post.
