Stuck on "receiving data" on every server

Date/Time: 29-04-2012, right now.

What happened:just downloaded the mod for the first time and i cant join any server - every time i join a server a downloading bar named "receiving data" starts and somewhere near the end of the dl it gets stuck and nothing happens.

Where you were: the screen where you see the names of the players in the server.

What you were doing: attempting to join one of the servers.

any help will be appriciated..

this happened to me alot.

It can be one of several things:

make sure you are launching Combine Ops

Check that Battleye is installed

it could also just be the server is overloaded and can take a while.

try giving it a bit longer to respond.

There's an easy fix that worked for my friend.

Restart the computer

Run steam as administrator

Then it should work.

PS did you download the new files as they changed yesterday at 1130pm

yeah, problem seems recurant on all european servers
