Stuck in walk mode and will start to walk mid sprint

i tried doing the double tab of shift to turn it off but it did not fix it. seeing as how i only spent 5 mins on my char i decided to kill myself via zombie and hope that fix's it.

You could've just D/ced and joined back, usually fixes it.

Escape > Controls > Search for Toggle Run/Walk > Look at the buttons it's binded to > Press the button > Problem Solved

Lots of buttons can be toggled and will disrupt or stop running, if you do not have a weapon equipped then it is not possible to see what you have done.

Try double tapping the following if it happens again, each one can cause problems with movement:

Shift

Q

E

Ctrl

If you don't have any weapons and try to bring up the weapon sights (right click usually) you will start walking really slowly. Another right click should fix it.

had this the other day, you were most likely in "iron sights" mode (tap right mouse).
