No help here? I've seen tons of threads where someone asks for help in something and two people answer the same thing because they are writing simultanously since there are so many helpful users here.

On topic, this community isn't NEARLY as bad as some I have seen. Go look at the Diablo 3 forums for instance. Most communities tend to be comprised of mostly people with some gripe or another (as happy people don't generally write about how happy they are) and people who enjoy answering questions, theorizing, and dissecting poorly constructed arguments. As any game becomes more and more popular, you will always see a corresponding increase in negativity in said game's community. Add on top of that the fact that in most games, death is not permanent, and it means a complete restart in DayZ, and people will make accounts to shed some of their rage. It's to be expected, really.

This community is FAR from bad. There is honestly a lot of positive feedback, positive stories, and positive attitudes. There will always be complainers, though, and nothing will ever prevent that.

Also, this forum doesn't seem to punish people for being volatile, which is something that I like. It does, however, make for some heated discussions.
