Meeting friends in-game

Hey guys,

Is there an easy way to find friends in-game? None of us really know the ARMA map all too well and looking at the ones online don't really help. Is there a group feature or something similar?

No, you need to pay attention to the city name/location on the bottom right of the screen when you join a server. That's the closest location to where you're at. Check with an online map (It'll be somewhere along the south and east coastline) and collaborate how to meet up with your friends. This can take 20-30 minutes if you're unlucky. If you're too far away, try respawning, since it'll be random where you're located.

It's actually easy once you play more look at the bottom right screen when you spawn in, use the online map, me and my mates usually have a meeting point.

It took me and my friend about 15 minutes to meet up (first time we both played the game) ..just look at your surroundings, a online map, or the signs and follow the coast :)

Tried. We all met up, but to get to them I had to swim. Jumping off the pier into the very deep water I sink like a rock, collapse and bleed out. Managed to swim to the other side, bandaged with 500 blood left. 25 minutes crawling to the hospital to die..lol

Now have to find them again, it's a pain :D

Actually it's pretty easy to meet up. We don't know the map at all, had one guy who was even looking at the map, and with half an hour all four of us are traveling together.
