Starting to get kinda annoyed

I downloaded the new beta version because I saw that I needed it in game to join 90% of the servers.

So I downloaded it and no problems yet, I starting DayZ through Arma II launcher and every FUCKING server I tries to join I can't get past THE FUCKING loading screen og waiting FOR THE FUCKING character to create.

2 day with this FUCKING problem and I starts to get pissed atm..

I bought it for 2 weeks ago and have only been able to play 3 days.

Since when I downloaded it I had problem with that the serial wasn't valid to download beta and these 2 last days I can't join any server, and when I can join a server a idiot with a server kicks me.. Just full off bullshit..

Just a post to get my frustration out.

Yea, if you aren't getting past load, you've done something wrong. Everyone else can play.

dayz (mod) is alpha

required patch for arma2 (engine) is beta

make sure to

a ) install the latest recommended dayz version

b ) install the recommeded arma2 patch for said version

c ) make sure to run the recommended/latest battleeye version

d ) only join servers with exactly your dayz & arma2 version

works everytime for me.

if not on 1st, then on 2nd attempt.

Download SixLauncher and update your files/beta and verify them. http://www.six-updat...p/download.html

Download the latest Battleye update and install it. Get the v1.61.94945+ 32-Bit Client. http://www.battleye.com/download.html

Make sure you have your shortcut setup correctly. http://dayzwiki.com/...to_install_DayZ

Be patient and remember this is not a "friendly to the average user" game or mod. Stress shortens your life span and this unimportant thing is not worth the stress.

But I just can't get past the creating character part..

Since I didn't have this problem the 3 days I could play, I get slammed with it in one session, because a alpha version just can't allow you to enjoy it with out 1 single problem..

Is it giving you any message when you get kicked?

I'm just going to ask you some questions for clarification. Steam or Non-Steam version? Do you manually install Beta/DayZ updates or do you use Six Launcher? Are you trying on the same server or multiple ones? When you first have Arma II open (on the main screen) does it say 1.62.95248 on the lower right corner? And you did put the new Battleye DLL in the Expansion\Battleye folder correct?

Once again just trying to go through some things to rule out possible issues. This is what an IT professional tends to do so sorry if I'm being repetitive.

I was having trouble yesterday getting in and it would sometimes take 5-10 minutes on the Loading screen. It could be with the influx of new players (from the Steam sale) that the hive and servers are bogged down. It was really laggy in several servers I was on yesterday and taking longer than normal to spawn in.
