Potentially Selling NVG's - Thoughts?

Pretty simply, a friend and I stumbled across two camps. They had NVG's, more than two NVG's. If one were to sell NVG's what would they sell for? Maybe a couple vehicles or a few rare weapons? Just curious, never heard of anyone trading/selling items in DayZ before.

Well maybe one of the less valuable vehicles. Not more than one though.

You could switch it for about 2 weapons though, or one m4 SD.

Ya have to understand that NVG's, while asshat rare, are a bit useless when most people play during the day and avoid night time servers. They would allow you play on a night time server, but what's the point when there aren't many others around? NWA isn't safe even with NVGs during the night anyway.

are NVGs really that valuable? i mean i have 3-4 pairs now, and 2 sets of range finders, but in all my travells to the NWAF i havent found a single SVD Camo (I WANT ONE SO BAD), we have only found 2-3 guillie suits, 2 AS50s, aand about 5-6 coyote backpacks. how can they be that valuable? i would trade NVGs for a SVD or an AS50 any day, why would people give more than that? We have only ever had 1 care we were able to fix and bring to camp, and even then it took us the better part of a day with a group of us getting parts/guarding the car.i dont see what all the fuss is, im usually playing at day time, night isnt that dark and the only thing NVGs do for me is make me terrified of dieing and losing em!

SVD camo is pretty much the rarest item in the game at this point but still you could probably find people willing to trade their svd for a pair of nvgs. People get turned on by the idea of playing during the night and hunting people who don't have NVGs.

We have a camo svd sittin' in a tent for 3 days now. Nobody even wants to use it as they don't have the know-how. We'll trade it to you for a Ural, if you can get us one on a hardcore server. We'll even throw in AS50.
