Chances of Finding a Vehicle Spawn?

I've been running around the South coast with an ALICE Pack full of car parts trying to find a vehicle, to no luck. In fact I've never found a reparable vehicle, ever.

How often do vehicles spawn? Where is the best place to find them? Failing that, the best place to 'borrow' one from?(I promise I'll put it back.....)

I thinks its one vehicle per spawn point on a server. Can spawn points spawn multiple vehicles over a few server restarts?

Borders of the map is the best place to find them, cause players hide them there quite often.

From my experience there are about 25 vehicles on the map (not counting boats), of which like 7 are bikes and 5 are ATV's. Only newish servers have a lot of vehicles to be found usually. I mean, when I just got my server, I must have found 10 vehicles in the first 2 days...

There is a set amount of vehicles spawning I think, after they get destroyed they can respawn on server restarts.

Borders of the map is the best place to find them, cause players hide them there quite often.

You have to be überlucky to see vehicle on it's spawn point. Best bet is to go north and search the forests. You can also find nice gear from camps while looking for vehicles :)

Yeah, people horde the shit out of vehicles. I'd do the same thing. That's why I destroy them when I find them. Only after running their tents over after looting what I don't already have out of them. :D

Finding vehciles can be a bit hit and miss.. take yesterday for example.. was taking a stroll around willow lake, and came across an atv, no fuel, red engine.. so I leave well enough alone and start searching through Berez. to find engine parts.. found some fuel, and on the way back up, came across a UAZ, filled with medical supplies, fueled and repaired, just tucked out of sight on a factory yard.. So, stuff the ATV, I'm doing a Jukes of Hazard in the UAZ..

1/2 way to the place I've decided to hide it, I drive past a tractor.. didn't bother stopping tho...

That was in the space of about 2 hours.. but they are the first vehicles I've seen for nearly 2 weeks..

I found an ATV over by Black lake and after getting 2 tires for it, was driving it up to the NE airfield and came acrossed a S1203 Van on the side of the road all green and a half a tank of fuel. I parked the ATV and grabbed the van and found 2 ATVs grouped together later on top of a hill, both needing a set of tires. I drove down to the coast to look for parts and stuff after picking up my friend and ended up finding a freakin VS3 Truck! It needed 4 tires and the fuel tank was red but luckily i had a few tires. However, the night went down hill pretty quick. =/. The VS3 exploded and made me unconscious for about 10 minutes after a random peice of road debris appeared out of no where in front of me causing it to get high centered. The Van was stolen from me later that night by two guys who I was helping get away from zombies (which i will never do again). I rolled the first atv i found by the lake. I did find a tractor later on too with a red engine and fuel tank; but after driving it will about 3000 blood which caused my vision to suck it ended up exploding too because I kept hitting some fences. This all took place within a couple of hours. Normally I don't have that much luck though.

I've noticed though I tend to find them whenever I'm not looking for them. Yesturday I was wandering around in the forest and found some bus that needed a tire.

Use the Dayz wiki or the Dayzdb map to find the spawns, there are only a few on the coast and because they are only on the coast and people have probably taken them already.

In a couple of weeks of playing on various servers, not once did I ever see a vehicle at its spawn. In fact, I saw maybe two vehicles in total. One driving through berezino at night, the other, a busted military truck that dissapeared from the server the next day.

Then all of a sudden, joined a server the other night and found most vehicles at their spawns. So, now we have a UAZ and a Bus and have spotted boats (too slow) and a tractor. I guess you just have to be lucky and playing on the right server to find anything...
