xbox controller

nope! Arma II is a very realistic engine (well as much as it can be) and almost every single key on the keyboard is used for something. You'd be depriving yourself of important key functions by limiting yourself with an xbox controller.

I use an Xbox controller for use in vehicles but use keyboard/mouse for running around and shooting. The Xbox controller is rather rubbish at being able to be used on foot but in aircraft or cars its damn good

Is a Xbox controller supported by Arma II or are you using a program to set the key bindings?

I do believe that it is supported, but if not, just look up Xpadder. If you REALLY dont wanna fork over the 10 bucks, im sure you can find a trial edition laying around somewhere on the internet.

I think using a controller would be nice but it seems you cant remap the controls too easily... or atleast for me. The default controller setup is really bad.

It is supported when you plug it in go on the arma escape key menus then go to controllers and enable the xbox controller :)
