Few questions!

Hey there, just a few small questions to keep from from starving to death as my character figures out how to walk again!

First of all, I am in a massive forest but I doubt I can get any firewood to light it up, does anyone know how we can get our paws on some wood?

Second, will my character randomly catch an infection if he stays out only in the day and makes sure to avoid traveling during rainy occasions? I'm hoping that if I take certain precautions it will make it nearly impossible for me to get sick and start hacking up a lung like most of the undead.

Well I'm still looking for specifics but my body temp drops continually no matter what.

All I do now is hunt for firewood in buildings.
