Valiton 6 Posted July 23, 2012 First off I'd like to take a moment just to say how much fun my friends and I are having on this game. We'll be playing for a long time to come and hope it continues to grow.I did however run into a rather frustrating problem while playing on server US 941. For several hours two friends and I scavenged all we could from an area and set up camp where we decided to make our home. We did everything the game seems to be about, working as a team, being cautious not to attract too many zed, and generally staying clear of any area where there was gunfire. After deciding we needed a new tent to get enough supplies to last the night we ventured into town where we encountered what seemed to be other hostile players. We wounded one, grabbed what we needed, and left but came face to face with another on our retreat and were forced to kill him. After looting his corpse and heading back out of town we were all three kicked from the server and have been unable to keep a connection to it since. Other players seem to be connected.We can find a new server, but just so we can avoid that situation again: Did we break some sort of unspoken rule, or was this just a case of an angry admin unable to cope with losing his stuff?Thanks for the help.-Valiton 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

bond1971@tpg.com.au 92 Posted July 23, 2012 There has been quite a few complaints today about admins kicking people for killing them or looting their camps etc, I guess this must be on the rise. I would suggest changing servers, bite the bullet and do it now before you start finding vehicles etc. I would also 'fraps' being kicked as well and post in the server abuse section. Hopefully the dev's see it and blacklist the server or something.Someone must be in the water, seen lots of posts about this sort of behaviour today. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

vroid 0 Posted July 23, 2012 That makes no sense.. pvp is one of the most exciting parts of the game, deadly skirmish in random player encounters can't be taken away or forbidden by server admins.. what next? moving away weapons and zombies? :D To be sure that won't happen again, you could probably try some russian server, they are total meat grinder mostly, the minuses are that it can be hard to find low-ping one due to geographical distance, and half of players there does no understand english.. species5021 28 Posted July 23, 2012 Like hackers and Elektro snipers, abusive admins have become a lot more common. I've noticed a steady rise in servers that kick people other then the 4 or 5 people that are playing at the time. And other servers use very low set ping kickers or so it seems in any case. The amount of topics on the forum stating people were kicked after shooting someone is rising pretty exponentially aswell. I know rocket and his team are hard at work but they might want to nip this in the butt before it goes bad. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Keurk 4 Posted July 23, 2012 admins are so mad sometime... Dev staff should analyse admins attitude and have some pre-requisite stuffs and a kind of trial period. Problem is nothing seems to be done against thoses besterds admins who kick any times they are mad. Fucking kids :( you did nothing wrong and played the game as intented.
