More supplies than KBR/Halliburton

The logistics is getting out of control. One sweep through the apartments/grocery store in Berezino and I found close to 30 cans of food and 20 cans of soda. More ammo than I could fit in every slot on my person and bag along with the guns to shoot them.

Stary has a military camp next to it that is ridiculously stocked with weapons and ammo. Ridiculously. It has about 1/10th the amount of enemies to contend with compared to the northern airfields as well as less human competition. There are about 20+ tents set up and there are two caches inside nearly every tent. It is insane.

I want to recomend making the items not only appear in FAR FAR less frequency but also to completly remove item respawning at all on the server. Once a town is cleared out of supplies it will not spawn back (until a server restart). This will encourage more movement and town clearing/foraging.

Another suggestion that I want to make is to have Zombies drop better loot. NOT in higher frequency mind you, but have a zombie drop a good handgun every once in a while. Have a zombie drop a rangefinder.

I would also like to see food requirements be very limited much less food needed to be eaten and have hunger/thirst last longer, but the scarcity of food be turned up to a very high number. Make a can of Dinki Di be a great find.

As far as i can tell, the camp in Stary was removed with 1.5.1.

That was the only other viable option to get Gucci-guns and ammo apart from the airfields, now the attention is yet again airfield camping. Had the Stary military camp been located in the middle of the map, it would have been an excellent way to get people to stop hugging the airfields.

If the loot spawned once, and only reset at server restart, the amount of Pking will skyrocket. "Well, im not gonna find any loot since its 12h+ since server restarted, might as well shoot any player i see on sight"

That doesnt have to be a bad thing, but from my point of view, it is.

I do agree that food/drinks are too easy to find, but we've all had situations when we are desperate for food, checking village after village for any form of nutrition (Canned beans included but no preferred).

Stary is still there. I just cruised through it. Two Ak's, two MP-5's Remington 870 and enough ammo to invade a small third world country. Christ it has two gear/weapons spawns inside every tent.

People are going to PvP as it is. Let's give them an actual reason to do it instead of just for griefing and ganking for the hell of it. Teamwork would mean a hell of a lot more then also. Trade would mean more.


I don't mind being killed for food/supplies. I LOVE PvP when it has an actual purpose. But as it stands now the PvP is simply for the hell of PvP and that is not in spirit with a zombie apocalypse. People shoot other people not for supplies but just because it is fun or because they are worried the other person is going to kill them first for fun. You shouldn't have enough ammunition to waste spraying it into every person you see and not even bother to see WTF they have in their bags.

God damnit LOOT me! I probably have good shit on me! Kill me for a reason. Fuck you say you have a 24 slot bag and it has been filled to capacity for the last couple hours and you don't even need any of my shit? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
