We need some form of law, and a place to post bounty's.

This is just hypothetical for the time being, but im sick of being killed for no reason as im sure you all are.

Here is what I propose a team of people or a community that are dedicated to killing repeat player killers, for example if we set up a thread and some one posts a name and then another person posts the same name and so on we find them and kill them. So essentially we can have a list of known player killers and a bounty board of sorts. This way we can kind of keep some peace in a way.

I'm not suggesting we kill all players that have killed another player that is absurd, just the repeat offenders and the players who are a nuisance to the community. I mean if your a bandit or whatever and you enjoy player killing thats fine this is all in good fun. Its not as if we are going to get players banned are anything. I just think this is a cool concept and with input could grow into a cross server law enforcement type group, that will hopefully add a bit of deterrence to the would be repeat player killers.

For now this is a discussion and I want to hear your views and hopefully we can get something going.

Yes true anyone can change their name but not every person who plays DayZ has an account on the forums, let alone know they have a group after them. And 9 times out of 10 i have seen my killer and around 75% of the time caught their name.

i may have misread but killing them would make us bandits and put a bounty on our head therefore not really sorting the problem, also once they die they come back in game and continue as they were just without the gear?

Sounds good. There are plenty of bandits organizing theirselves in this way. It makes sense that vigilantes do the same. Just wait til we have moles in the bandits group and they have moles in our vigilantes group. Getting all 'The Departed' up in this mod and then Mark Wahlberg walks up in a tracksuit and shoots Matt Damon's face all over the door. Yes. This is all sounding good to me.

Okay thats like saying every single person executed was killed and the person who sentenced them to death is a murderer. An why would someone post a bounty on a bounty hunter? If they are known to be keeping the peace. I personally don't want a reward you can ask the person who posted the bounty for one if you like.

Thats really the only problem with it, other than a would be bounty hunter abusing their powers.

Maybe Rocket will make it say once a name has been selected it is then locked with your CD Key.

Cool thats great finally making some friends in the game only started a couple of days ago, There doesn't seem to be many girls really either but thats probably because Ive not long since started i will pm you now =)

The entire point of this situation is there are no laws.

This meta gaming is just as bad as alt f4ing to avoid death or farming loot by server hopping. But I guess that's okay because you are trying to protect carebears right?
