sparta436 46 Posted July 22, 2012 In a survival situation, a person would use any means they can to haul everything they need to survive. You would be able to find shopping carts around general stores and they would be able to hold 2 backpacks, 50 item slots, and 3 weapon slots. You can fill them with supplies and use them as a "traveling tent" however, traveling with a shopping cart has a big impact on your movement speed, making you more vulnerable to players and zombies alike. This idea was inspired by homeless people.

MartinCB 3 Posted July 22, 2012 Sounds really Good, but a too Big impact on MS won't be necessary since you can still run pretty fast irl, not as fast but still pretty fast

I mean, a shopping cart is kind of like a vehicle right?

tenbucc2 0 Posted July 22, 2012 i would imagine these would have to stay on the roads. i don't think you'd get very far pushing a shopping cart through gravel or a cow pasture irl. they also make a terrible racket. not ideal in an apocalyptic situation. i'd stay as far away from them as i possibly could but if you would like drive one through Elektro, by all means, go ahead. Im sure it would be easy enough to just hide it in a pine tree on the side of the road. It would pretty much just be a huge backpack that the play has to push. You have to decide for yourself if its worth hauling a shopping cart through the woods

unclegus 21 Posted July 23, 2012 I would only support this idea if you can get in it and someone else can push you down a hill and you can crash into a rock and get all hurt 'n stuff.
RapturJesus 90 Posted July 23, 2012 I like it but your suggestion of how much inventory space it holds it ridiculous. How fucking big is that cart? Seriously.Anyway the idea is good. I would say max inventory slots is somewhere between 30-40. Running speed is decreased. A little more on off-roads. Sound/visual is increased while holding on to or moving the cart. chhopsky 25 Posted July 23, 2012 i actually don't mind this. totally useless off paved roads, large inventory slot base. slight decrease in jogging speed, unable to run. would be nice for doing supply runs, everyone could shovel everything into the cart. This thing will not be fast at all.

mrnull 4 Posted July 23, 2012 would be good fun if it came into the game, and also if when traveling downhil u could half hop on the back of it and let the weight of all ur gear build up speed
