Banned from Facepunch servers

I was playing on one of the facepunch servers and then I got banned, and am unable to join ANY of the facepunch servers. When I try I get this message "You were kicked off the game. (Battleye: Banned)" The facepunch servers are the only ones I'm banned from, but they are my favorite servers. I think I may know the reason why but I am unsure. Here is what happened prior to ban. If you want to skip to what I think is the main important part just scroll down to the red highlighted line. Also I'm sorry if I misunderstood, but I think this is the right section for this thread.

I'm on a hill, and I hear a heli. I see one land near me. I wait for someone to get out, he walks around for a bit then gets back in and the heli takes off again. Sensing a once in a lifetime chance, I start shooting the heli, attempting to take out its pilot. I kill someone (turns out to be the gunner) and watch his body fall to the ground. The heli books it outa there.

Two of my friends show up and we start scouring the hillside looking for the body. Its dark out so we can't find it, so we start chucking random flares everywhere, in an attempt to find it. After a few minutes of searching unsucessfully for the body, we hear the heli coming back. Probably to investigate the flares. flares die out, he leaves. We throw one more flare to see if the heli will come back, no such luck. After a few more minutes of searching we find the body. We start looting the body when friend #1 gets shot. Me and friend #2 run for the trees. After hiding for a bit I see movement. After waiting for a minute more, I see a guy in a ghillie suit putting out the flares. I figure this is my chance, so I take aim with my nice new M4A1 CCO that I looted from the dead guy, and unload on the guy. He goes to prone, and I'm unsure if he fell over, or got down intentionally. I check murders,and they haven't gone up, so I figure hes still alive. I pop off a few more rounds then rush where he was at. Its empty, and so is the surrounding area. The bastard alt+F4ed.

Me and friend #2 go back to the body and finish looting it. Friend #2 starts to grab friend #1's gear so he can give it to him when he gets back. I go back to where we found a tent when we were looking for the body. I start looking through the tent, and I hear a silenced gun shot. I fall over dead. At this point I rage a little bit but whatever. Friend #1 is already on his way back to that location, and so I start to head back as well. Friend #2 dies shortly after me.

Friends #1 and #2 make it back and run into the guy who didn't die. He see's two guys who are unarmed and says "Hey, you guys need help?" Me and my friends are on skype and we hear him, we are like "OMG! Do you think this is the same guy?" He then proceeds to tell us how he has a heli, and some random guy shot his gunner outa the air. We are laughing so hard it hurts, knowing he's talking about us, but doesn't know he's talking TO us. He proceeds to tell us the entire story from his side. Sadly since I was only hearing it through skype, I couldn't hear everything clearly. Then he says "Well hey, I'm logging off, my heli is over there. If you want, you can play around with it." Then he logs off.

Now our group has a heli. Me and my friends are like hells yea! So I finally get back to them, and friend #1 says "Ok while I figure out how to work this thing, you two go over to the factory over there, and find us more parts. We head to the factory and while we are there, he gets it up and running. He flies over to pick us up and lands. I get in as the gunner, and suddenly fall down. Apparently Some random person shot me. Friend #1 takes off, so we don't lose the heli. Friend #2 dies shortly afterwards. I respawn and tell friend #1 on skype where I am so he can come pick me up. I go inside of a building, can't find anything of value. I leave and suddenly get kicked from the game with the message "You were kicked off the game. (Battleye: Banned)". I am now unable to connect to any of the facepunch servers. Friend #2 also got the same thing shortly afterwards.

Long story shot. I'm thinking either the heli was hacked, or the guys were admins and pissed that I killed one of them. I'm leaning towards the latter. Since me and my friends did NOT hack I feel this ban is unjustified and request ban removal. Sorry for the long post, but I felt you guys needed the whole story.

Admins would tend to ban anyone flying in a heli since they aren't legitimately spawning at the moment. The heli you got in was problaby hacked/scripted in, maybe by the guy you brained you, maybe not. Either way, it's a reflex for admins to ban anyone flying a helicopter now (hopefully that'll stop when they get put back in by Rocket).

Hopefully an admin can get in touch with you here and you'll get it all smoothed out, one way or another.

I am sure you can locate the DayZ thread at the Facepunch forums, it is the forums of a Half Life 2 called Garry's Mod. They are rather active.
