Question about day and night

If its night or day ingame depends on the timezone of the server right? So why is night time in seattle servers its 11:05 here and all U.S servers right now its day time everywhere in the US. So why is night time in most of them?

It's not always set to be in line with the location's timezone, although it's most common.

Server time might be different. Some servers are -6 GMT or +6 GMT... All depends. Also, with DayZCommander you can look for daylight only servers if you don't have NVGs

Yep. Let's you see what a server has enabled - thrid person, tracers, nameplates, etc etc, as well as time of day - an actual time in HOURS! ZOMFG

Hey I got the dayzcommander and enabled it to search for day only and I hit refresh. All the times for the servers are during the day time too but the past 4 servers I have joined have still been at night
