TinyTC1992 2 Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) So i had just started a fresh character, after being killed on the way to stary with my buddy, he managed to kill my attacker and was healing and waiting, I was running out of cherno i stopped to loot a barn hoping for a rifle, and found a decently geared player, I though I was dead he started shooting with his akm and killed 2 zombies I had mobbed, he told me about a shotgun at the top of the barn, so I equipped it, and followed him and asked him if he wanted to join me and my mate, during our journey back up to stary he pulled out range finders and nv goggles, I had never been able to get my hands on these and my friend had a dmr, i knew these could come in handy, the deciding factor was when i saw he was wearing the biggest backpack, which i had never seen so didn't recognize, straight away, anyway i turned the shotgun on him and shot him in the neck, see i didn't have a problem at that point but the fact i had to reload 3 times to finish him off made me feel bad lol , he even managed to tell me in chat i was out of order before dyeing, so if you him sorry.edit: i should have stated this was my 4th life from buying the game and i was new to the game, now i get why it was wrong, i try to help most of the people i see close to the coast but i tend to just stay away from players in general these days just gets you killed, so yes sorry to the guy i killed. Yes, that player got the gear and was surviving quite nicely until he decided to trust you. Who wants to try and make the most of this unique community anyway? Why would people try to play differently then any other fps out there? Kill or be killed right? Who wants the satisfaction of earning anything. Damn don't you all hate pkers, and haxors, and snipers, and glitches in a beta client? I hate people who complain on the forums too. Maby I should give some suggestions for the game, flying horses that shoot mortars out of their hoofs, wouldn't that be awesome sauce?Think I just about covered all the bases. opticalshadow 27 Posted July 22, 2012 well, first off, its dev, not devs, and the game is workign as intended.as for your claim to survive longer, thats false, you were not in danger with him, and to be honest, by elimiting a player who obviously is better then you (since he had gear youve never seen) you actually cut your chances of survival quite a bit by killing him. that could have been a key ally, someone who knows his way around, who could have led to better things.is what you did wrong? that depends on hwo you see it. the way i see it, you got a few nice items that you will lose eventually. but you lost a potential ally, whom could have stayed with you for a long time, over multipl sessions.in the end, your the one who lost out, not the guy you killed. he clearly can get his own gear, you stated youve never even seen the backpack, youve never gotten the otehr things. so while it sucks for him, and i know its hard work (or extreame luck) he will get his things back, but you will forever lost an ally.so like i said, its only bad if you look at it one way, only good if you look the other. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
