M14 vs FN Fal

Hey guys,

please give me some advice regarding these two weapons.

I personally like the FN FAL.

I think its iron sights are superior for mid to long range fights to the M14's CQB scope.

M14's sights are better for CQB, no doubt.

But beside the sights, beside the ammo rarity of the FN FAL, beside the FN Fal's burst ability...

do you see any other positive or negative aspects of these weapons in comparision?

Fire rate should be the same, Damage as well (8000).

FN FAL feals really deadly, but thats not a proper argument :D

Something regarding bullet drop / accuracy / loss of power over distance?

FN FAL has burst so it is better for pvp. 2 shots kill a player so with one burst per person you can mow people down. Not to say it's a good idea tho seeing as it's so freaking loud.

Both guns are identical stat wisem M14 has burst too IIRC. FAL isna bit louder

I'd rather use the FN Fal, but the rarity of ammo means you either are going to do a lot of crashsite hunting, or you'll be switching out guns sooner or later. Although ammo doesn't start as a big issue, starting with like 20 rounds, you start to run out after the first few kills. If you have 2 mags, you can really try to conserve ammo and make it last a long time as long as you don't go trigger happy on the first player you see. But if you are the kind of player that keeps shooting until you hear flies, then I'd suggest the M14 with the easily supplied ammo.

I would go with the M14, it wont be that hard to hit if you know how to shoot, but its not a sniper.

Man when i shot the FN people just start running it s beautiful that sound "she" makes. For me personaly the loud sound is a plus because when enemys hear that sound and they see the shots caming there way they just got very skare.

M14 i didn t have the opportunity to shoot with, i just held one in a heli crash, but when i saw the fn fal i drop the m14 and then i choose the fal. I love 7.62 assault rifle, they just feel right.
