I knew the music did a great job to this horror mod. But once you shut down the game music, the world is very peaceful.

What i want is this HORROR MOD should have bloods on the walls, hanging corpses in the woods,

foggy environment, wolf howling at the night (but add predator animals first), perhaps add snowy ground to make the world more "cold", zeds feeding around the hospitals, etc.

What ZS he said. This is not a horror mod, with this engine and the resources the developers have, the options a limited. I think that this mod kick ass, in it's own way. Personaly i dislike horror games, so fucking boring and the same. This one, got the realistic aspect of being a survivor that faces the fear of being all alone versus everything that basicly moves. There is simply no space for fancy blood on walls and a horde of zombies surrounding you. The engine can't simply handle that kind of stuff and be a MMO also.

I personally don't think these elements are impossible to be added. It is just about time and money. If they want to do that, all of us would be appreciated.

I think this game is quite scary as death has meaning. Every day you survive and last a bit longer, you worry some sniper may pick you off, and venturing towards a town has you scoping the place out first.

But hey, thats me. Want something quite freaky with the sorta atmosphere you want? Try Nightmare House 2, that's a great mod. Or the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

it's scary. Maybe if he just added some random exorcist.jpg popups you'd call it horror. I'd classify this as psychological horror especially at night when you hear footsteps and gunfire around you and you have good items. I like the game the way it is. With all that added crap, the FPS drops would be even worse.
