Stupid respawn button

Can the respawn button be made in a way so that when you click respawn it comes up with "Are you sure you want to respawn?: Y/N" or something like that? Because I was going to click abort and the server lagged, thus it made me click respawn. Now I have to run ALL THE WAY back to camp before my shit despawns.

Also how long does one's body stay there until it despawns?

How do people do this? This has never happened to me ever.

Well I was moving my mouse to the 'abort' button and then the server had a massive lag spike, thus instead of clicking abort I clicked respawn.
