What are the numbers next to player's names when they talk in channels? It looks like this:

1-1-D: [Maedis]: blah blah blah im a nooblord

I don't think its coordinates, and every server I ask says they have no idea

Group/team designation.

Not important in DayZ, because all players start alone in their own one man group.

In a regular ArmA mission groups might look like this:

1-1-A

Teamleader

Grenadier

Medic

Machinegunner

Rifleman

Rifleman

Rifleman/AT4

1-1-B

Teamleader

Grenadier

Medic

Machinegunner

Rifleman

Rifleman

Rifleman/AT4

1-1-C

Spotter

Sniper
