Vilayer and me!(Resolved)

So yesterday i was looking into a new DayZ host as i was unhappy with HFB. I then bought one from Vilayer. So i create account log in buy a 40slot server get all the confirmation emails saying payment received. And today when i go to log in to check the status of the server after work i got this.

"Login denied! Your account is inactive or has been blocked."

WTF really?!... Looks like ill be filing a claim on paypal. Oh an to top it off their LIVE SUPPORT dont even work -_-. i hit the send button and nothing happens.

That sucks, but how is this a DayZ forum problem? bring it up with paypal and get a chargeback

I would say....

Give it a little time.

Companies like this live off of their reputation.

I bet it's just an oversight.

Vilayer is a great host and hosts our server I cannot see this really happening

How is that a scam? And a chargeback should be used as a last resort, not the first thing you do after posting about it on some random forum rather than sending them a support ticket.

Hey dude, in the same boat as you.

I spoke with them yesterday and they are having a lot of issues, but are genuine about trying to get them worked out.

This is what I posted in another thread:

From my conversation with them, they had a really shitty string of events in a short amount of time:

Two updates were forced out through six-launcher without any notification or warning, so all their servers were instantly out of date. So they were flooded with update requests for their current clients

A patch was installed by their web host without warning as well, which is randomly blocking accounts and preventing them from logging in to their website (the issue I have)

They were flooded with orders at the same time as all of the other issues, so they are scrambling to get things done but are way behind

The way DayZ servers are hosted and set up is pretty unfortunate. Servers hosts have to manually take care of issues because they are the account holders for the ID's that have been whitelisted by the DayZ mods, so any small issue requires help from the server hosts themselves. Just a big shit storm right now...

This is actually the THIRD host I have tried to get for a server, and each time the story is pretty much the same.

Sounds like your account got auto flagged by the ACP system and was locked, I'm sure they will sort out this issue for as it is super easy fix but takes a human to fix.

ya i would hope so but i have no way to contact them as their support is also broken fml :(

They have support online now that is actively fixing issues (and just set up my server)

I wouldn't give up on ViLayer yet, Lee just hooked me up large and fixed everything - try coming on teamspeak at ts3.vilayer.com and he should be able to get you straight

Hello Everyone,

Vilayer hasn't scammed anyone just to make a very valid point.

Our system is having some issues currently of which we're dealing with them as fast as possible.

If anyone gets the message,

Login denied! Your account is inactive or has been blocked.

Please ignore it

This issue is not directly down to Vilayer but is down to the component of which is used to integrate the billing system.

I am trying to make this issue very clear to everyone.

No ones account has been blocked or will be blocked.

Just to update everyone,

The company who develops the component is currently working on the system and is trying to resolve the issue ASAP.

We are also working extremely hard on the new system.

If anyone has any issues at all please just come onto our teamspeak at : ts3.vilayer.com
