Our Servers are lagging as hell

We have two servers. LU138 and DE 244. The LU is from Vilayer, the DE from Hostaltitude and we get lags and red connection symbols every 60 seconds. It's almost unplayable. What's the reason for this? Is it because the hive is in the USA? We are really disappointed at this time, because for other players you stand still and they can shoot you. When the lag is gone you just die.

How often do you restart the server? It should be rebooted every 4-8 hours depending on load.

We restart every 6 hours. We didn't see any difference when we restart. When there are about 10 players, it's better but with over 20 it lags like hell all the time.

try out DE1 if u have the same experience, i think that they put to much load on their Server

Have you created a ticket about this (Host Altitude)? We'll check on it for you.

try out DE1 if u have the same experience, i think that they put to much load on their Server�s and safe money on connection to keep the Prices low,

better pay a bit more and get excellent running Server�s!

We don't overload our servers and the CPU is always kept below 70%, RAM is never an issue as it's constantly around 50% and we use 1Gbps connections on all nodes so this can't really be overloaded with just a few DayZ servers.

We'll monitor his server and make sure everything is in order with the node and then check his server settings for any problems with those.

Yes we had a ticket opened on this issue and I was told, the hive had some issues. After that the server was running good but since the last days we have every 60 seconds a red connection symbol and driving in a vehicle is almost impossible. The server RAM and CPU isn't at maximum, just like you said and since I know HostAltitude I am very happy with the service. I don't comment on the other host I was talking of.
